Well, for my first beef of this site. I just want to say welcome to one and all as we once again approach another overly commercialized holiday season, where retailers around the world get the joy of dealing with over stressed and over taxed holiday consumers, who bitch, whine, and complain about all the gifts they cannot afford to buy. News Flash here folks: Screw the commercialism! Christmas is not about what’s under the tree (although the Big Brother may want you to think that way so he can reap his tax dollars from your pocket) Christmas season is about family, loved ones and enjoying the holidays with those you care about.
As someone who works in retail myself (one of my many hats) I once again get to look forward to being the victim of armed robberies (they’re gobs of fun) and verbal assaults just because John and Jane Q. Public are totally stressed out and desperate to buy into the commercialized holiday we’ve all forgot the true meaning of.
Christmas is not in the gifts under the tree, or in your wallet. Christmas is in the eyes and smiles of children as they look forward to the idea of Santa, it’s in the time spent with family and friends where the greatest gift is simply that which is in your heart.
So forget the commercialized crap that has been dumped on this special holiday and treasure those who are in your heart this special season.
Screw the white collar business criminal that is gouging you with a 35% – 400% mark up (thats right 400%) on everything you buy, just so he can line his pockets. He loves the commercialism, screw him, and treasure those close to you. That’s where you’ll find the true spirit of the holidays.
Tip of the Day: Please be extra nice to all the waiters, waitresses, and sales clerks you deal with, as they get your food, before you do!

O.k. T.V. News Headlines Time: Did Micheal Jackson Do It?
For the record here folks, I think he's guilty as hell, and should be locked up A.S.A.P. But thats just my opinion.
Guilty or Not lets look at a couple of his best known incidents:
A few years ago Micheal paid out $11 Million for the silence of a child who accused him of sexual assault. Now whether he is innocent or not, ask yourself why would an innocent man have to pay for the child's silence? Would an Innocent Man not face the allegations head on, knowing that he had nothing to fear?
In a televised interview not all that long ago Micheal publically admitted to sleeping in the same bed with young boys that were visiting his home. I'm sorry but this is highly inappropriate behavior for a grown man.
Now every parent out there has had their child crawl into bed with them, this is not what I'm talking about here. These boys are not Micheal's children, they are/were guests in his home and have no business being in this mans bedroom let alone in bed with him. Innocent or not, this again is highly inappropriate and suspicious behavior.
Last Year in Germany Micheal Dangled an infant off a hotel balcony for a crowd of fans and live camera's. Granted this was nothing more then a publicity stunt and the child in question was not harmed, but this is clear child endangerment! What if the child had slipped?
Now I'm sure all you bleeding heart, gullible Micheal Jackson Fans out there will scream and yell and try to justify Micheal's behavior because your so sure he's "Innocent". Granted the only ones who know what really happened are Micheal and his "guests". But for those of you out there defending this man, I say: WAKE THE HELL UP! Just be thankful it's not your child that has been spending time with this freak.
In my opinion this man has no business being around children of any age and should be locked up immediately where the real men behind bars can deal with him.

Well, I have to admit the E-mails so far have been pretty lame, with nothing worthy of even posting. It’s been all “Gee, you’re a little over the top aren’t you” or “I agree with you”. I guess I just haven’t stirred the pot enough.
I truly never have any shortage of items to Rant and Rave about its just a matter of finding the time to do it and of course trying to stick to the short falls and annoyances of society.
So back at it. Let’s mix it up a little here with a hot topic that I have seen develop into screaming matches among so called “civilized” folks. So I thought I would post my views on this matter because well, its my site.
Topic of the Day: Gay Marriages & Adoption
Some time ago Canada decided to legally recognize and allow gay marriages. Now this sparked some heavy debate around the country and the around the world for that matter. But personally, I could care less. As long as it only involves legally consenting adults and does not involve me, I really could care less.
If someone is lucky enough to find happiness in this world, then I say more power to them. If they happen to find that happiness with another man, or another women, who am I to impose my views on them? What two legally consenting adults choose to do behind closed doors is their business, and if they choose to get married, again more power to them.
This I have no beef with, however, once legally married this opens the door for gay couples to legally adopt children. Well, problem time here folks…
Should Gay couples be able to adopt children? Hell No!
This is not to say that a gay person would be a bad parent, or a danger to the child, that’s not what I’m saying here. A child raised in a gay home is simply denied the influence of “normal” gender roles and will grow up seeing “deviant alternative” lifestyles as normal and is more likely to be gay themselves. Despite what psychologists have said on this matter, a quick review of studies clearly show higher incidents of homosexuality among children raised with gay parents then in the general population.
This aside, we all know that school yards can be a cruel place for children who are in anyway perceived to be different from their peers, any child raised by gay parents can look forward to a life of hell in the public school system. Any caring parents would not want to open their child up to this cruelty. The mental and emotional health, and well being of the child should always come first.
I could easily go on and although I hold no real religious views I could use the biblical argument against Gay adoption, or take the evolution/biological argument against this practice, but the basic real world view above will suffice.
If Gays wish to marry and be happy together, they have my blessing, but then by default they should not be able to adopt children. Every choice we make in life comes with a price and the price of choosing an “alternative” lifestyle should be a childless existence. To consider anything otherwise is nothing more then selfishness with no consideration for the child.

Post Script:
O.k. folks if your going to E-mail me to call me an Asshole, then please tell me why you think I'm an asshole, and give me your opinion on this matter, and you have my word I will post your comments. Just check some of my other sites, I have no problem posting hate mail. It is not my intension for this to become a site simply to argue with people. Arguing to me is useless, I can scream at you till I'm blue in the face and it won't change your views, and you screaming at me, won't change mine. Its takes alot to get blacklisted in my world, only a handful have ever achieved it, and just because you may have a differing opinion, will not put you on that list.
So if you have strong views on this matter, and whether you agree or disagree with me and want to voice your opinion, then by all means give it to me and I'll post it.
So until the peanut gallery actually gives an opinion of some sort instead of a creative word or two...

Well, I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed, I honestly thought my last post would get some interesting reactions, but I guess time will tell as traffic to this page increases. Maybe we’ll see what we can stir up in the new year, lol
Here’s a beef I’ve been stumbling across more and more often over the years and I guess its kind of fitting as the holidays are once again upon us. Actually I don’t know if it’s so much a beef, or maybe just something I don’t understand.
The issue here is: Santa
Over the years I’ve stumbled across a large number of people who raise their children without celebrating Christmas and those who celebrate Christmas but raise their children not to believe in Santa.
Now I understand some people do not celebrate the holidays for religious reasons, fair enough. It’s not for me, but if others choose a religion where holidays are not celebrated that’s their prerogative. What I don’t understand are those who celebrate the holidays but deny their children the magic of Santa.
The world these days can be a rough and cruel place on occasion and children really don’t have that much to believe in, and to deny them the magic that comes with the belief in Santa, is something I just can’t grasp. As a grown adult, I can honestly say, not only do I believe in Santa, but we’re old friends. I see him every year in the smiles and eye’s of the children as they get excited about the one magical night when a man dressed in red sneaks into their homes and leaves them gifts under their Christmas tree. To deny a child that magic, for me is almost like child abuse. I know due to poverty and other issues sometimes Christmas is not possible for some families, it’s a sad unfortunate reality of today’s world, but its those who can afford it, and do celebrate it yet raise their children not to believe in Santa that I have a slight beef with. To deny children the joy and excitement that comes with Santa and this whole time of year is just wrong, and I’ll never understand it.
Well as the holidays close in on us and I prepare to take some time away for the festive season and a special day remembered. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who is kind enough to grace my pages and wish each of you, from my home to yours, a very Merry Christmas and all the best this holiday season.
For those who have never seen this, Here’s a little something I stumbled across, my gift of thanks to you this holiday season. Dumb Ass Bass .(a little parental guidance.)
Enjoy!
